An evening in Godricās Hollow, Lily has had enough of only seeing the inside of their house. She grabbed her wand and a sweater in the intent to step outside for 5 minutes and see the sky for once.
She shouted back into the house at her husband and his best friend who were, of course, worrying about her leaving the house and the baby in their hands.
Remus sits down on the stairs leading up to the house. Dimly lit by the single street light.
Silence spread between them and the only sound for a while is Remusā soft crying.
Lily:Ā āIāve been keeping an eye on him when he thinks weāre not looking-Ā ā
Lily:Ā āI mean you look like-…ā
Lily:Ā āBut…ā
He leaves and disappears in the shadows down the street.

One evening in Godricās Hollow, Lily roams thought the house to find her friend, since she didnāt show up for dinner. She stops outside an open door to a dimly lit room.Ā
She enters the room and sits down beside her best friend.
Lily:Ā āYou have no idea how horrible it is to stay here, every night and see you all just… leave…ā
Lily:Ā ā-Ā instead of building it up inside that pretty head of yours.“
Silence spread between them while they both stare into the semi darkness.
