–Marlene loves to dance in the rain and Dorcas gets super worried. it goes something like this: “wtf you idiot you’re going to die of hypothermia get in here right now and take off your wet clothes” “are you flirting with me? lol” “shut UP mckinnon”

–Marlene and Dorcas like to put on the Beatles records and dance around in there pajamas.

–they recite Shakespeare dramatically at each other.

–Marlene really loves the beach but Dorcas is like it is literally so cold and cloudy right now??? why would you want to go to the beach

–Dorcas loves those ridiculously sweet cinnamon-y coffees, and Marlene hates coffee in general.

–Marlene hates most alcohol, except champagne, because champagne is really bubbly/fizzy and it makes her happy. she’s a lightweight. Sirius and Dorcas make fun of her for that a lot but they’re “secretly” very overprotective of her when she’s drunk.

–Marlene tried to make blueberry pancakes for Dorcas once on her birthday. it was a disaster, and they don’t speak of it. ever.

–Marlene’s favorite book as a child was “The Wizard of Oz.” Marlene teases her about it because it’s an American book, but she actually thinks it’s adorable.

–Marlene has a black cat named Evelyn. she got it as a kitten when she was a first year.

–they start dating in 6th year.

–their “dates” usually entail Dorcas sneaking Marlene into the Gryffindor common room and cuddling.

–after Hogwarts they get a flat together and paint the kitchen yellow.

–Dorcas loves fairytales. she sits in front of the fireplace at night with Marlene and reads them outloud. she even writes some of her own. she finds the muggle fairytales that Marlene tells her about especially intriguing.
